Understanding your HIV risk factors is the first step in reducing risk!

Do any of these risk factors apply to you:

• Are you having anal and/or vaginal sex with an HIV-positive partner?

• Do you have 1+ sexual partners of unknown HIV status?

• Have you had a bacterial sexually transmitted infection (STI) such as gonorrhea (GC), chlamydia, or syphilis in the past 6 months?

• Do you have condomless sex with a partner who is gay or bisexual?

• Have you had condomless sex with a partner who injects drugs?

• Are you sharing injection equipment such as syringes?

  If you answered yes to any of these known risk factors you are at risk for contracting HIV
