Mental Health Awareness Month


The LGBTQ+ community is disproportionately effected by mental health. One meta-analysis concludes that bisexual people are more likely to experience higher rates of depression and anxiety compared with gay, lesbian, and heterosexual individuals. In another study, 58% of Transgender individual were found to have at least one psychiatric diagnosis.
