Human Trafficking Awareness Day

According to the National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center, Human Trafficking is considered to be a “crime involving the exploitation of someone for the purpose of compelled labor or a commercial sex act through the use of force, fraud, or coercion.” Awareness is so important because 88% of human trafficking victims encounter the healthcare setting.
